Activation energy (Arrhenius)

Paste temperatures (K) and a thermally activated quantity such as ionic conductivity, diffusion coefficient or a rate constant. Lattent fits the Arrhenius equation directly, without distorting the errors, and reports Eₐ in kJ/mol and eV.

Questions

Why not fit ln σ against 1/T?

Linearising distorts the error structure. Lattent fits the exponential directly with 1/Y² weighting, which handles data spanning orders of magnitude correctly.

Curvature often means Vogel–Fulcher–Tammann behaviour (polymer electrolytes, glasses) or a change of mechanism. Use Find the best model in Studio to compare.
